More on FIFA 06

Best friend of Russia on the post-Warsaw Pact territory, Poland is producing (1) beautiful girls, (2) decent footballers and (3) great screenshots of the most wanted unit FIFA 06. We do care about the first mentioned piece, we respect the second, and we are extremely amused by the third one.

For us it is exceedingly important to share with you the amusement we experience; and that’s why we cannot just pass by the very important fact that our partners in the world of virtual football—Fifapoland.pl—have published 9 brand-new screenshots of the soon upcoming product created by the evil inspiration of the EA Sports team.

You may laugh, you may cry, but, just as it has happened for the previous few years, these screenshots do not uncover anything extraordinary or revolutionary, although they show some of the in-game menu and more importantly the old new graphics engine that looks quite ridiculous in the time when spaceships hover in the vast expanses of cosmic ocean. Unfortunately for us, if there will be no major breakthrough in gameplay, we would have to state the fact that EA Sports is loosing its grip on the genre of football simulators — at least for PC. Frankly, those guys have been making money out of the same slightly changed product for six years in a row…
