By the way…

The first official patch for FIFA 06 became available yesterday. Being amazingly lightweight (just 5.8 Mb, which is almost unbelievably small in comparison with all the huge patches and demos by EA for FIFA 2005) it fixes the problems with USB keyboard incompatibility and makes it possible to save your own PC controller settings. So you can now create football masterpieces and don’t bother about all the troubles with your brand-new keyboard. Enjoy!

Warning! If you did something with the FIFA 06 directories (e.g. moved or replaced files, etc.), try putting back these files:

• data/gui/menu/01_main.big

• data/gui/playnow/ctrlmap.big

• data/input/devdata.dat

• and, certainly, FIFA06.exe
