A delightful outlook.

Sometimes you wonder why the things are this way and not the other. Usually we start to look back, trying to see a trend or some law which hurled to the present through the past and stated itself as a tradition. For example, what for does Lichtenstein has a national team or what is Pippo Inzaghi doing in this world?

So, why is there all that fuzz about New Year? Why there are presents and drinking and jingle bells? What the hell for do we treat another ordinary day in our life as something so special; just because some time ago some weird person set the 31st of December the day to flip to the next year?

Being too lazy to google the subject or question the almighty Wikipedia, all I could say is that if New Year didn't exist, it would have been made up by people. Because it's the nature of us (people) that does require some global changes to make some local fixes in turn. We drink and chant on 31st because deep inside we believe that next year would be better, and would help us change ourselves towards brighter something, help us improve. And we will never do that before it's almost too late or there's a great stimulus to speed up (like the New Year thing).

Practically, the law is well proved by this news bulletin: hey, I've been loafing around for months and here I am, to bid farewell to the old year :) And of course, I hope that I am to spend more time on that since tomorrow. And, for sure, I really, really hope that I could be considered as a representative sample of the world to help my law get approved and get my surname quoted everytime someone attempts to consider drinking champagne on 31st because it was like that all the time…
